Declining population of tigers at Raja ji National park, Uttarakhand (17th Sep 2015) : The forest department officials have decided to translocate the male tiger to the western part of the Raja ji national park. This part has only two tigress and no tiger, so if no remedy is taken the tiger population will vanish from here. The Chief wildlife warden of Uttarakhand told that around 10 tigers shall be transferred to Raja ji from Corbett National park or other part of Raja ji. Out of these 10 tigers, 2 or 3 will be male tigers.
