Since morning the sky was covered with clouds and drastic change in the weather was a great surprise to the people. The first thing was drizzling and then snowfall started. Initially the snowfall started from Neelkanth Parvat which continued to Nar-narayn Parvat and ultimately at Badripuri. Before the closure of Badrinath temple, there were devotees in large number.
